Safety Sense Inc.
Accessibility
Last updated November 3, 2026. We want everyone who does safety work to be able to learn with us, including people with disabilities and people who think, read or process information differently.
Our goal
We aim for our website and courses to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we check new pages and modules against them as we build.
What we do now
- Courses are built to work with a keyboard and common screen readers, and they save your place so you can work in short sessions.
- Text can be resized, and the site uses strong color contrast.
- Videos will have captions, and each module’s opening story is also available as text.
- Module quizzes are not timed, and you can retake them.
Known gaps
Some older pages and a few interactive activities inside course modules may not yet work perfectly with every assistive technology. We’re working through them.
Need something different?
If anything gets in your way, or you need a module, transcript or document in another format, or an adjustment for a capstone or oral defense, email janel@safetysenseinc.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We’ll reply within 5 business days and work with you on a solution.
