How close to the edge do you operate before your judgment breaks down? Twenty-four statements, six short scenarios, and a reading you can act on.
Every serious injury I have investigated had a threshold in it: a point where the decision was still open, and then a point where it was not. ThresholdIQ™ looks at the four things that move a person toward that point: cognitive load and time pressure, physiological state, risk normalization and habit, and social pressure and authority. Then it puts you in six situations and asks what you would do.
Answer for how you work on an ordinary week, under ordinary pressure. Nobody sees this. Your answers stay in this browser and are never sent anywhere.
ThresholdIQ™ is a structured self-reflection tool built on the Quantum Safety™ Wavefunction Collapse idea, used here as an analogy. It is not a validated psychometric instrument, a fitness-for-duty test, or a prediction of whether you will be hurt. It is a mirror, held up at a safe moment, so you can see where your margins are thin.
1 = strongly disagree, 3 = neither, 5 = strongly agree.
Part two · What would you do?
Pick the option closest to what you would do, then answer the follow-up. Answer for what you would do, with the pressure you would be under, and leave the textbook answer alone.

ThresholdIQ™ score
Higher means more margin between your everyday operating point and the threshold where judgment collapses. Lower means you tend to work close to the edge.
Each line is a margin score, 0 to 100, for one of the four domains, plus the scenario block. The lowest lines are where you tend to move toward the threshold first.
Chosen from your three thinnest margins. Each is mapped to a step on the Vagal Safety Ladder™ and to the Wavefunction Collapse idea from Quantum Safety™, which I use as an analogy: before a risk decision is made, the outcome is still open. Once the irreversible step is taken, it is not. Everything in these practices happens before that step.
Each of the twenty-four statements scores 1 to 5, where 5 means you operate closer to the edge. For each domain (six statements) the edge-score is (total minus 6) divided by 24, and the margin is 100 minus that, as a percentage. In the six scenarios each choice carries 0, 1 or 2 edge-points, two choices per scenario, so 0 to 24 in all; the scenario margin is 100 minus (points divided by 24) as a percentage. Your ThresholdIQ™ score weights the statement margin (average of the four domains) at 60 percent and the scenario margin at 40 percent, rounded to a whole number.

ThresholdIQ™ is a structured self-reflection tool. It is not a validated psychometric instrument and it does not predict injury. The score describes how you answered today, and the way you answer shifts with sleep, stress, the crew and the shift. The Vagal Safety Ladder™ draws on polyvagal theory, which is widely used and still debated. The physics language is an analogy for how irreversible decisions feel from the inside, and nothing more. Use the result to choose one practice and start it tomorrow.
